What this directory is
Italian citizenship work in the UK is done by translators, law firms and consultancies, each with their own strengths, and no single body covers the field. This directory sets out 46 of those firms the same way from public records. We hope that helps people find the right help, and gives each firm a fair and free place in the list.
How an entry is made
We read each firm against these sources. Lines link to what they rest on where they can, with the date we read them. A site can refuse a read or change the next day, so an entry may be out of date.
- The firm's own site
- Services, prices, how to reach them, any dispute scheme they name, any client reviews they print. Its description of itself is recorded as its claim, not ours.
- Companies House
- Company number, status and date of incorporation. A firm with no entry may simply be a sole trader or a partnership.
- The SRA register
- Whether the firm is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Most firms here are not, and no UK rule we have read requires it for the Italian side of this work. Some firms name another regulator on their site, which the entry reports. The SRA covers England and Wales; Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own Law Societies.
- The ICO register
- The ICO's own download, searched under the firm's listed and company names. A sole trader may be registered under a personal name, so no match says nothing against a firm.
- Reviews elsewhere
- We print no review scores. They move without notice, and we could not keep them current for everyone. Entries link the Trustpilot page for the firm's web address where we hold one, so you can read it yourself.
The rules we try to keep to
- Firms are listed alphabetically. There are no rankings, scores, picks or best-of lists, and no firm is featured.
- No firm pays to be listed. There are no adverts and no referral fees.
- Each firm gets the same page, with the same checks in the same order. Where a check could not be run for a firm, its entry says so.
- A gap is only a gap. An empty line says what we looked for, and says nothing against a firm.
- Being listed does not mean a firm does this work today. Each entry quotes what the firm's own site says about citizenship, or says we did not find it named.
- We aim to publish what a reader can check at the link, and to keep our own conclusions about a business off the page, favourable or not.
- We try not to name individuals in our own prose. The registers name their own officers.
The conflict of interest
This directory is published by Corviado Ltd. The owner of Corviado Ltd also owns Resinaro, one of the 46 firms listed. Resinaro is marked with an asterisk, *, in the lists, and says “Same owner as this directory” on its own page. Corviado Ltd sells no citizenship services and is not listed.
The two publish the same address, 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, a serviced address neither occupies as premises. We say so because a reader who checked would find it.
What we do about it: Resinaro gets the same page and checks as the other firms, with its gaps shown on the same terms, and the list is alphabetical. If you think the conflict makes the directory unreliable, that is a reasonable position. Lines link to their sources where they can, so you can check for yourself.

Corrections, by letter
Firms can write to ask for an entry to be corrected, added or removed. Tell us the firm, the line, and where the right version is published.
It needs to fit through a letterbox: a letter or an A4 envelope.
Parcels and boxes are likely to be sent back by the address service. Please send copies rather than originals, and no payment.
We try to read each letter and check it against the source, but we cannot promise a date or a particular outcome. More on writing to us.
Entries are read at a point in time, and prices and filings move. Listings have been withdrawn before: the publisher itself, a second entry for a practice already listed, and an affiliated practice we chose to delist. A fourth, a company listed from its name alone, was withdrawn on 31 October 2026.
If you read an earlier version of our guides
We update the guides as we learn more, and some earlier wording has changed. If you acted on it, these are worth a second look, and we are sorry for any trouble:
- For London and Edinburgh, the estratto per riassunto is not the form they ask for. See documents you need.
- We once said a UK certificate needs two apostilles. No post's page says that. The same guide explains what each one does say.
- Postcodes in north Wales (LL) and Northamptonshire (NN) were once shown under Manchester. Both counties are on London's published list. See your consulate.
- A route tool that was here until 30 October 2026 was taken down because its answers had fallen behind the 2025 reform, so please do not rely on any result it gave you.
Being added
If you offer Italian citizenship services to people in the UK and are not listed, you are welcome to write to us. We would aim to build the entry from your site and public records, the same way as the others, and being listed costs nothing. A listed firm that does not do this work, or would rather not be listed, can write and ask to be removed, and we will look at it.
