Write to us
Corrections, listing requests and questions about the directory come in by post. There is no email address, telephone number or social media inbox for it.
The address
Firms can write to ask for an entry to be corrected, added or removed. Tell us the firm, the line, and where the right version is published.
It needs to fit through a letterbox: a letter or an A4 envelope.
Parcels and boxes are likely to be sent back by the address service. Please send copies rather than originals, and no payment.
We try to read each letter and check it against the source, but we cannot promise a date or a particular outcome. More on writing to us.
How to send it
- A letter or an A4 envelope
- Whatever you send needs to fit through a letterbox.
- No parcels, packages or boxes
- The address is a mail service with no storage. Anything that does not fit through a letterbox is likely to be refused there and returned to you, so it may not reach us.
- Ordinary post should be fine
- First or second class. If you would like proof of delivery, you could use a signed-for service and keep the receipt. It is not required.
- Copies rather than originals
- Please send copies of any document, and nothing you need back. We are not able to return what is sent to us.
- No money
- Please do not send cash, cheques or payment of any kind. Listing is free and nothing on this site is for sale.
What to put in it

- Anything else
- The page you are writing about, if there is one
Please include a postal address for any reply. Replies go by post.
What may happen next
We try to read letters as soon as we can, and we cannot give a time. A correction is usually checked against the source you point to, and if it holds, we aim to update the entry and its date. If time passes and you have heard nothing, please write again: the letter may have been missed.
A data protection request, or a legal complaint about an entry, goes to the same address, as the privacy policy and terms set out. Writing “Data protection” or “Legal complaint” at the top helps us find it, and is not required.
