1. About this site

This website (“the Directory”) is published by Corviado Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17098795), with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE.

The Directory sets out firms offering Italian citizenship services to people in the United Kingdom, along with guides to the law. The owner of Corviado Ltd also owns one listed firm, as the about page explains.

2. Using the site

By using this site you accept these terms. If you would rather not, please feel free not to use it. We may update the terms from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows the latest version.

3. A reference, not advice

The site is here to help you find information and ask good questions. It is not legal or immigration advice, and listing a firm is not a recommendation. Please treat it as a first step. Before you pay for a document or decide anything about your application, it is best to check the consulate's own page or speak to a professional.

Corviado Ltd is not a law firm, is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and is not authorised by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner. The guides offer general information and do not replace professional counsel.

4. Accuracy

We take care with what we publish and show the date each entry was read. Even so, things change, and we do not guarantee that anything on this site is complete, accurate or current. In particular:

• A firm's prices, services and details can change without notice.
• Information from registers and other sites comes from sources we do not control.
• We link to original sources where we can, so that you can check them.

Where this site and an original source differ, please treat the original source as the one to rely on.

5. Our connection to one listed firm

The owner of Corviado Ltd also owns a listed firm. It carries an asterisk, *, in lists, and its own page says so. Details are on the about page.

We aim to run the same checks on each listing, in the same order, and listings appear alphabetically. No firm pays to be listed, and there are no sponsored entries or paid placements.

6. Using what is here

You are welcome to link to any page, and to quote and cite the directory, with a mention of where it came from. The design, text and code belong to Corviado Ltd and are protected by copyright, so please ask us before republishing large parts of them. Facts about listed firms, such as company numbers and published prices, are not ours to claim. Automated visitors are asked to follow our robots.txt file.

7. Corrections, additions and removals

We would be glad to hear from any firm about its entry. Firms can write to the address below, in a letter that fits through a letterbox, with what looks wrong and a source for the right version. We aim to look at each letter and to apply a correction that holds against its source, and we cannot promise a date or a particular outcome.

A firm may also write to ask to be added, or to ask for its entry to be removed, for example if it does not offer this work. We consider each request on its own terms. If a firm has stopped trading, changed name or merged, we aim to reflect that.

If you feel an entry is unfair, wrong or affects your rights, please write with the details and any supporting evidence, and we aim to review it and reply in writing.

8. Sorting out a disagreement

We hope any concern can be settled simply, with a letter. A good route is to:

1. Write to us naming the statement, why it looks wrong, and a source for the correction.
2. Allow us time to look into it. We aim to acknowledge your letter in writing.
3. If the statement proves inaccurate we aim to correct it, and if we see it differently we aim to explain why in writing.

We welcome the chance to put things right. This route is meant to sit comfortably with the Pre-Action Protocol for Media and Communications Claims. Nothing here takes away anyone's right to go to court.

9. Why we publish

The directory publishes, in good faith, factual information from public sources including provider websites, Companies House, the SRA register and the ICO register. Lines link to their source where they can.

We believe this serves the public interest, by helping people compare professional services in a field with no single regulator or trade body (see the Defamation Act 2013, section 4). Any summary of a firm's service scope is offered as honest opinion based on those facts (see section 3 of that Act). We also regard the directory as maintained for the purposes of journalism within Schedule 2, Part 5 of the Data Protection Act 2018.

10. Links to other sites

The site links to firms' websites, public registers and other platforms, so that you can read them directly. Those sites are run by others, so we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.

11. Limits on our responsibility

The site is free and offered as it is. So far as the law allows, Corviado Ltd does not accept liability for loss or damage arising from using the site or relying on it, including:

• decisions made using its entries, tables or guides;
• the work or conduct of any listed firm;
• errors in third-party information reproduced in good faith;
• the site being unavailable from time to time;
• indirect or consequential loss.

If we are found liable despite this, our total liability relating to the site is limited to one hundred pounds (£100), so far as the law allows.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights.

12. Using the site fairly

We ask that you do not:

• present anything here as an endorsement or recommendation of a firm;
• send a correction you know to be inaccurate;
• use the directory to mislead anyone about a listed firm.

13. If part of these terms cannot apply

If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest continues to apply.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute about them. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to use your local courts.
